Music from Azerbaijan will feature alongside a selection of classical favourites in a concert by the Premier Orchestra of the Sacramento Youth Symphony, Sacramento, California. The orchestra will be directed by Michael Neumann; guest performers will include Mustafa Mehmandarov, a guest conductor, and Marziya Guseynova, a soprano. Works by Elgar, Verdi will also be performed. The concert will celebrate 61 years of musical excellence by young musicians from the Sacramento region.
